There was a fatal motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon in Williamson County, Illinois.
According to thesouthern.com article of August 25, titled “Cycle crashes reported; at least one person dead” :
Steven Matuszczak, 20, or Herrin, was pronounced dead from injuries suffered in an accident about 2:10 p.m. on Grassy Road just west of Pine Ridge Road, said Williamson County Coroner Michael “Junior” Burke.
Matuszczak was said to be traveling south on Grassy Road at the time of the accident, when his motorcycle left the roadway and hit a guardrail.
The accident remains under investigation.
