There was a motorcycle accident Sunday night (April 17, 2016) in rural Will County involving a car striking two motorcycles. These motorcyclists were traveling in a larger group at the time of the accident.

At around 8:07 p.m. Sunday, April 14, Norberto Munoz-Rueda, 55, of the 200 block of Hemlock Ave. in Romeoville, was driving a 2013 Chevy Cruz northbound on Cedar Road at US Route 52 in Manhattan when he went through a stop sign and struck two motorcyclists who were traveling southbound on US Route 52 at Cedar Road, according to Illinois State Police Sergeant Scott Angus.
The two motorcyclists suffered injuries that were considered serious in nature. Both were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their accident injuries.
Norberto Munoz-Rueda was charged with DUI as well as other offenses.
