A motorcycle accident occurred on Whitesville Road in Saline County on Wednesday morning, injuring two people.
The accident happened at approximately 10:40 a.m., about one quarter mile east of Briar Creek Road in southern Saline County.
The two people injured were Jacob C. Lewis, 22, and Delaney N. Robinson, 20, both of Harrisburg, Illinois.
There was a loss of control of the motorcycle and then the motorcycle exited the roadway. Both riders were ejected during the incident.
Robinson was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana with significant injuries. Lewis was treated at the accident scene.
