Two Injured During Motorcycle Accident North Of Edwardsville Illinois

Two people were seriously injured Sunday afternoon (August 21) in a motorcycle accident north of Edwardsville Illinois.

An excerpt from the August 21 article on the accident in The Telegraph, titled “Two injured in Edwardsville crash” :

The incident occurred around 12:58 p.m. as the motorcycle was turning into a private residence near the intersection with Prairietown Road, Illinois State Police District 11 said.

The driver of the 2008 Harley Davidson FLH was identified as Egbert D. Hepler, 64, of  Ballwin, Mo. He was flown from the scene by ARCH Air Medical Services Inc. helicopter to Saint Louis University Hospital for treatment of critical injuries.

A passenger on the cycle, Susan L. Wallace, 59, of  Galesburg, was taken by ambulance to Alton Memorial Hospital, then transferred to Barnes Hospital, where she was being treated for serious injuries. At last word she was in stable condition.

The driver of the 1999 Ford F-150 truck was identified as Jennifer M. Yates, 61, of Wood River.
Neither she nor her passengers was injured.
