Southern Illinois Fatal Motorcycle Accident

There was a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday morning (May 4, 2014) in Perry County, Illinois.

The motorcycle accident happened at approximately 11:20 a.m. Sunday, as a car pulled out in front of a motorcycle at the intersection of Illinois 152 and Illinois Route 127/13.

The motorcycle struck the car’s driver’s side, and the motorcyclist was ejected.

The motorcyclist was identified as Elbert Gualdoni, 78, of Murphysboro.  He was pronounced dead at the accident scene by the Perry County coroner.

An investigation into this Southern Illinois motorcycle accident is ongoing.
