There was a fatal motorcycle accident in Sangamon County, Illinois on Tuesday night.
The accident involved a motorcyclist who collided with a car at the intersection of Curran and Spaulding Roads at approximately 5:40 p.m.
The motorcycle, driven by Dustin Dishon, 23, of Springfield, was heading northbound on Curran Road when a car, driven by Trevor Baker, 27, of Virden, turned left in front of the motorcycle, causing a collision.
During the collision, Dishon was ejected from the motorcycle. He was taken to Memorial Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
Authorities say that Baker was cited for making an improper left turn.
