There was a car-motorcycle collision Sunday afternoon (September 11, 2016) in Hanover, Illinois.
According to information provided by the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 4:50 p.m., in the 8200 Route Illinois 84 South area.
At that time, a man driving a car northbound on Illinois Route 84 made a left-hand turn immediately in front of a southbound motorcycle. The car struck the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment of his accident injuries.
At the time of the accident, the motorcyclist was wearing a motorcycle helmet.
The driver of the car was identified as David J. Farrey, 71, of Hanover, Ill.
