Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Channahon Collision

There was a motorcycle accident Monday night (May 16, 2016) in Channahon.  The accident happened on Route 6, west of Interstate 55 (I-55) according to the Illinois State Police (ISP).

According to the ISP, the crash happened at approximately 6:00 p.m.  The crash involved a motorcycle and semi.  Details on the reason for the crash appear to be unavailable at this time.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured during the accident.

As a result of the accident, a large amount of diesel fuel from the truck spilled onto the roadway.
