A motorcyclist was struck and killed early this morning by a Metra train in Orland Park, Illinois.
Details on the accident are limited at this time. However, the accident is reported to have happened at approximately 12:45 a.m., near Wolf Road and 175th Street. The train was outbound.
The motorcyclist’s identity has not yet been revealed; however, it is being reported that he is a 50-year-old man from Tinley Park.
According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, the motorcyclist died at the accident scene.
