There was a motorcycle accident on Monday (June 20, 2016) in Streamwood which led to the non-life-threatening injuries to the motorcyclist.
According to Streamwood Police, the accident involved a motorcycle loss of control.
The accident happened as a motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Barrington Road, near Green Meadows Blvd., shortly before noon. As he attempted to turn left into a strip mall, the motorcyclist lost control on the road’s median.
The motorcyclist was identified only as a 45-year-old man from Schaumburg.

The man, whose name was not disclosed by police, sustained head injuries, and was airlifted by Flight for Life to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
