Illinois State Police reported Nathan E. Miller, 37, was driving a black 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle southbound on U.S. Route 45, south of Effingham County Road 870th Ave. just south of Heartville. Miller was traveling behind another motorcycle that was slowing due to a flat tire. Miller was applying the front brake to slow down when the front tire locked up and the motorcycle flipped over ejecting Miller from it. The accident occurred at 8:46 a.m.
Miller, of Shelbyville, was taken to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries.
