This motorcycle accident was first reported at 10:56 a.m., after a motorcyclist riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson FLH motorcycle lost control for an unknown reason, left the roadway, and crashed along the southbound entrance ramp of Interstate 255 from southbound Interstate 55/70.
The motorcyclist was identified as Robert K. Dicken, 56, of Springfield, Illinois. He was declared dead at the accident scene at 12:08 p.m. by the Madison County Coroner’s Office.
