Motorcyclist Dies Following Joliet Collision

There was a motorcycle accident in Joliet after which the motorcyclist died early Sunday (September 18, 2016) morning.

At this time details regarding the accident appear somewhat limited.  The cause of the crash does not appear to be publicly disclosed.

According to the Will County Coroner’s Office, the crash happened as a motorcyclist was traveling north on Route 59, at Country Glen Court, in Joliet.  The motorcycle was then struck by another vehicle.

An excerpt from The Herald-News article of September 18, 2016, titled “Plainfield man dies, Joliet woman charged after motorcycle accident“:

Kathy A. Molitor, 58, of the 4600 block of Lalique Court in Joliet, was arrested in connection with the crash on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol and making an improper left turn, according to Joliet Chief of Police Brian Benton and Will County jail records.
