Motorcyclist Dies Following Algonquin Motorcycle Accident

A motorcyclist has died two weeks after he was injured in a motorcycle accident in Algonquin, Illinois.

The motorcycle accident happened on September 22, 2014, near the intersection of Milbrook Drive and Corporate Parkway.

Details on the accident and its causes appear very limited.

The motorcyclist was identified as David Leonard, 30, of Gilberts.

According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, Leonard was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital for treatment of his injuries where he died Sunday (October 5, 2014.)

An autopsy Monday found he died of sepsis and multiple injuries from the crash and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.
