Motorcycle accidents which involve the motorcycle striking deer – or swerving to avoid such deer – while not common, do happen. There have been several instances in recent years in which a motorcyclist – and in some cases, motorcycle passenger – have been seriously injured if not killed by motorcycle accidents involving deer. The subject of such accidents – and steps to avoid such accidents – is further discussed on the “Road Hazards – Deer” page.
