Motorcyclist Dies After Crash In Lee County, Illinois

There was a motorcycle accident Saturday (September 6, 2015) in Lee County.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Saturday at approximately 5:00 p.m.  At that time, the motorcyclist was riding on  LaMoille Road, north of Woodhaven Lakes Campground, when there was an apparent loss of control (the motorcycle went off of a curve in the road) and went into a field.  At the time of the accident, the motorcyclist was not wearing a motorcycle helmet.

The motorcyclist was identified as Juvencio Jaquez, 48, of Romeoville.  He died of his accident injuries Monday afternoon at Rockford Memorial Hospital.

This fatal Illinois motorcycle accident remains under investigation.
