Motorcyclist Dies After Accident In Chicago’s McKinley Park Neighborhood

There was a motorcycle accident on Monday afternoon (June 24) that led to the motorcyclist’s death.  The accident happened in Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood.

The accident happened on 3:15 p.m. Monday, as the motorcyclist was riding southbound on West Archer Avenue.  He was struck by a car attempting to make a left-hand turn on the 3500 block of West Archer.

The motorcyclist was identified as Joel Ibarra, 24, of Chicago.  He was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m.
