Motorcyclist Died Almost A Month After A Collision

A motorcyclist died almost a month after a collision with a car.  The motorcycle accident happened in the Stony Island Park neighborhood which is on Chicago’s South Side.

The May 22, 2018 collision is discussed in the June 18, 2018 Chicago Sun-Times article titled “Motorcyclist dies weeks after Stony Island Park crash“:

About 12:20 a.m. May 22, Quenton Evans was riding a Suzuki motorcycle north in the middle lane of Stony Island Avenue when a 25-year-old woman driving a 2019 Dodge Avenger east on 86th Place failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the bike, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Evans, 28, was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in serious condition after the collision.  He later died from his accident injuries; he was pronounced dead Sunday (June 17, 2018) morning.

According to Chicago Police, the driver of the car was charged with failing to yield.
