There was a motorcycle accident Saturday evening (August 8, 2015) in Aurora.
The accident happened at approximately 6:45 p.m., in the 1000 block of Solfisburg Avenue.
The motorcyclist, identified as Jose Rivera, 32, of Aurora, is reported to have lost control of his motorcycle after which he was ejected from the bike. The motorcycle then crashed into a nearby parked vehicle.
Rivera skidded down the road.
When paramedics arrived, Rivera was unconscious. He was taken to an Aurora hospital for treatment of his accident injuries, which are reported to include head trauma as well as other serious injuries.

He was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
