Motorcyclist Charged Relating To Antioch Crash

A motorcyclist (Gary L. Rogers, 46, of Wonder Lake) has been charged with DUI, as well as other charges, in relation to a July 4, 2016 motorcycle crash in Antioch after which the motorcycle passenger ( Traci L. Dotson, 45, of Wonder Lake) died from her accident injuries.

An investigation by Antioch police and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team determined Rogers was operating the motorcycle with a blood-alcohol level in excess of the .08 limit, authorities said.


Rogers was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in death and reckless homicide. If found guilty, he can be sentenced to a maximum of seven years in prison.
