Motorcycle With Sidecar Fatal Accident In Rock Island

There was a fatal motorcycle accident on Monday (September 12, 2016) in Rock Island.

According to Rock Island Police, the accident happened on 17th Street at 28th Avenue, at approximately 9:30 a.m.  While the cause of the motorcycle accident does not appear to be currently available publicly, the accident involved a motorcycle with sidecar “clipping” (i.e. hitting) a parked car, and then another parked car, near the entrance of Trinity Medical Center.

According to the Rock Island County Coroner, the motorcyclist was identified as Echo Sutton-Downs, 43, of Moline.  She was declared dead after being taken to the hospital.
