According to the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department, the motorcycle accident happened as a motorcycle with passenger were traveling westbound on Georgetown-Indianola Road. At approximately 11:20 p.m., for a currently undetermined reason, the motorcycle (a 2015 Suzuki) left the roadway and both the motorcyclist and passenger were ejected.
The motorcyclist was identified as Blake Cappello, 24, of Danville. He was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana for treatment of his accident injuries.
The passenger was identified as Jennifer Bina, 43, of Georgetown. She was also taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana for treatment of her accident injuries, and was reported to be in critical condition.

Wood said the cause of the accident is still under investigation, and charges are pending. “However alcohol and/or drugs are suspected to have played a role the accident,” Wood said.
