Motorcycle Collision In Elgin Causes Serious Injuries

There was an Illinois motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon (September 24, 2015) in Elgin.

First responders went to the accident scene at approximately 1:45 p.m.  According to Elgin Police, the accident scene was at McLean Boulevard and Bowes Road.

The accident happened when a motorcyclist collided with a utility truck that had parked in the right traffic lane.  At the time of the accident the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on McLean.

The motorcyclist, currently identified only as a 48-year-old male, reportedly suffered “serious injuries” and was taken to Presence St. Joseph for treatment of his accident injuries.
