There was a motorcycle accident today (January 28, 2014) involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in McCracken County, Kentucky today. Although this motorcycle accident happened in Kentucky, it is similar to various Chicago-area motorcycle accidents.
This motorcycle accident happened at the intersection of Clinton Road and Contest Road at approximately 3:34 p.m, as a motorcyclist, identified as Charles Wallace, was riding north on Clinton.
A Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Tyler Randolph, was also traveling north at the time.

Deputies say Randolph slowed and signaled his right-hand turn onto Contest Road.
At this time, deputies say Wallace tried to pass Randolph, but hit the driver side front quarter panel of the Silverado. Wallace then lost control of the motorcycle and came to rest in the ditch on the southbound side of Clinton Road.
Wallace was taken to a hospital with injuries considered to be non-life-threatening injuries.
