A motorcycle accident in the Rochelle, Illinois area on Friday, May 25, sent two people to the hospital.
David L. Jones, 56, and a passenger, Brenda F. Jones, 57, both of Creston, were taken to Rochelle Community Hospital where they were treated and released.

David L. Jones, 56, and his passenger, Brenda F. Jones, 57, were northbound on Locust Road, north of Hayes Road, and going too fast to negotiate a curve, Illinois State Police said in a news release.
He laid the bike down, and it came to rest in a ditch. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, the release said.
