A motorcycle crash Tuesday, June 5, in Whiteside County, Illinois has left one person dead.

The accident happened at approximately 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, on Illinois Route 40 about one-half mile east of Ridge Road, and involved an SUV colliding with a motorcycle. Two people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead.
