A motorcycle accident happened Monday afternoon in White County, Illinois.
Virgil King, 66, of Albion, was injured during the accident and airlifted to an Indiana hospital.
The accident only involved King’s motorcycle. He was traveling westbound on Interstate 64, at approximately 4:17 p.m., when he failed to properly negotiate a curve on an exit ramp leading to Illinois 1, south of Grayville. He left the roadway and was ejected.
According to Illinois State Police, charges are pending, but have not been publicly specified.
