Motorcycle Accident In Springfield, Illinois

There was a motorcycle accident in Springfield, Illinois on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.  The accident happened as a motorcyclist was heading north on 16th Street.  At Clear Lake Avenue, the motorcyclist collided with a van.

The van’s driver, Franklin D. Goacher, 71, of Springfield, was attempt a left-hand turn onto Clear Lake Avenue at the time of the accident.

The motorcyclist, identified as Gary E. Martin, 33, of Springfield, was in critical condition following the accident.
