There was a motorcycle accident Sunday (August 3, 2014) in Pekin, Illinois, in which one motorcyclist was injured.
This motorcycle accident happened on Route 29 at Brinkman Drive. Pekin Police were called to the accident scene at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The accident happened as two motorcyclists were traveling southbound on Route 29, when one of the bikes hit the back tire of the other bike.
The rider of the bike that hit the tire of the other motorcycle lost control of his bike and was ejected from the motorcycle.
That rider was identified as James Laidler, 52, of Pekin. He was taken to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria for treatment of his injuries.
The motorcyclist riding the front bike was not injured during the motorcycle accident.
