A woman passenger on the back of a motorcycle was injured during a minor accident Wednesday afternoon on Illinois 47 in Morris.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, a male motorcycle rider and his female passenger were making a left onto Illinois 47 from the plaza next to the Mobil gas station. While crossing the turn lane, he slightly hit a car driving in the turn lane, Patrolman Curt Kneller said.
Kneller said the passenger and motorcycle driver hit heads, causing the passenger to black out and slide off the bike. She was not seriously injured, but taken by ambulance, he said.
