There are many reasons that motorcycle accidents can occur. One reason is that an object or animal suddenly appears in the roadway. There can be many types of road hazards that present a difficult situation for the motorcyclist. In attempting to try to ride the motorcycle given the road hazard, the motorcyclist may lose control of the motorcycle. In many cases a loss of motorcycle control leads to a serious accident. The subject of loss of motorcycle control caused by a road hazard is further discussed on the “Motorcycle Loss Of Control Accidents” page.
