Man Killed And Daughter Injured During Ingleside Illinois Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident on Saturday evening, August 27 in Ingleside, a northern suburb of Chicago, has left one man dead and his daughter critically injured.

The motorcyclist, Justin McBride, 29, of Lake Villa, was traveling north on Illinois Route 59 with his daughter at approximately 6:30 p.m. when they collided with a car that was making a left hand turn onto Wilson Road in Ingleside, according to Lake County Sgt. Michael Keller.

During the course of the accident, McBride and his daughter were both thrown from the motorcycle, Keller said.

McBride was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Advocate Condell Medical Center.  He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

His daughter, who was wearing a helmet, was airlifted to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.  She was listed in critical but stable condition.

An investigation is continuing and no citations have been issued.
