Man Dies From Injuries Sustained During Niles Illinois Motorcycle Accident

On Sunday a 36-year-old man from Morton Grove, Illinois died of injuries sustained during a Thursday (September 22) motorcycle accident in Niles.

Witnesses say Felino Bingayen exited a private drive onto southbound Austin at high speed.  As he sped down Austin on his Honda CF4 motorcycle, he lost control and was ejected from the bike, hitting the ground hard.  The accident occurred at around 8:36 a.m. in the 7100 block of Austin Avenue.

Niles paramedics took Bingayen to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston; he died on Sunday afternoon.

Niles police cited Bingayen for driving too fast for conditions, having no valid registration and no proof of insurance.

According to police, he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
