Following the collision, the motorcycle drove onto the right shoulder. The motorcycle fell on its side.

Motorcyclists who are injured in accidents that were not their fault may have grounds to file a personal injury lawsuit. While there are many reasons one may want to file a lawsuit, getting compensation for the accident injuries is often a primary reason. Depending on various factors, medical bills stemming from the treatment of motorcycle accident injuries can be substantial. These bills may be high even for those who have good health insurance plans.
As well, depending upon the characteristics of the injury, there may be other negative repercussions stemming from being hurt. For instance, the injuries may force the rider to take time off of work. A personal injury lawsuit can seek to recover this lost income and other financial hardships stemming from the accident injuries.
