Many Illinois motorcycle crashes involve the motorcyclist being ejected from the motorcycle. This aspect of motorcycle accidents is further discussed on the “Motorcycle Crashes Involving Motorcyclist Ejections” page.

On that page, various Chicago-area motorcycle accidents involving ejections are mentioned. Among the locations in which these accidents have occurred include:

  • Hanover Park
  • Wadsworth
  • Mattoon
  • Jersey County
  • Peoria
  • Streamwood
  • Libertyville
  • Geneva

Ejections can occur in many different types of motorcycle accidents. Many of these accidents types can be avoided. How to prevent an accident that would lead to an ejection is discussed.

Of course, some crashes leading to ejections can’t be avoided. In these instances, wearing a motorcycle helmet as well as taking other safety measures can serve to lessen the severity of any accident injuries that might occur.

Additional discussion regarding motorcycle ejections and related health and legal issues can be found on the “ejections” page mentioned above.
