A motorcyclist and a Chicago Police SUV were involved in a head-on crash this morning on Chicago’s South Side.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 8500 block of South Chicago Avenue, according to police.
The motorcyclist was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition. The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, though he did suffer some broken bones, police said.
The police officer was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.
