There was a fatal motorcycle collision Saturday night (April 8, 2017) in South Holland. The collision, which involved a Suzuki motorcycle and a silver Honda – was a “hit & run accident.”
According to South Holland Police, the collision happened at approximately 7:35 p.m., as the motorcycle was eastbound on 170th Street. After passing several vehicles, it crashed into a silver Honda at Dobson Avenue.
The motorcyclist, identified as Asa A. Cole, 25, of South Holland, was ejected from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Honda involved in the accident left the accident scene, but the front bumper with an Illinois license plate was left behind. The accident investigation is being conducted by the South Holland Police Investigations Unit and the South Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team.
