Loss of motorcycle control remains a leading cause of motorcycle accidents. As seen in the Illinois motorcycle accidents summarized on this site, these loss of control crashes often result in serious injuries. Many of the fatal motorcycle accidents have resulted due to some type of loss of control.
The subject of motorcycle loss of control is further discussed on the “Motorcycle Loss Of Control” page. As discussed on that page, there are many factors that can lead to the motorcyclist unable to accurately guide the bike and retain stability. Due to many reasons, once the motorcyclist starts to lose control it can be difficult to regain control.
