Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Ogle County, Illinois

There was a fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday night (April 25, 2017) in Ogle County.

According to information provided by the The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a single motorcycle riding along North Illinois Route 2.  At around 8:30 p.m., while in the 8000 block of North Illinois Route 2, the motorcycle left the roadway, drove into a ditch, and hit a tree.

The motorcyclist, identified as William Wise Jr., 51, of Rockford, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
