Fatal Motorcycle Crash In La Salle County

There was a fatal Illinois motorcycle accident Saturday (April 11, 2015) west of Seneca.

The accident happened at approximately 5:45 p.m. Saturday, along Route 6.

The crash, which only involved the motorcycle, was reportedly caused by a motorcyclist hitting some gravel on the side of the road, losing control, and crashing into a ditch.

According to the La Salle County Coroner’s Office, the motorcyclist, who died at the accident scene, was identified as Gary Houghton, 52, of Bolingbrook.
