The crash occurred about 1:30 a.m. near 85th Street and Harlem Avenue. The motorcycle was headed north in the northbound lanes on Harlem Avenue when it was struck by the SUV, which was heading south in the northbound lanes, the release said.
The motorcyclist was identified as Mark E. Hulihan, 42, and Georgina Coss, 41.
The driver of the SUV was identified as a male in his 20s. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with injuries considered to be non-life-threatening.
The accident remains under investigation by the Bridgeview Police Department.
