There was a fatal motorcycle accident early this morning (August 24, 2014) on Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive.
According to Chicago Police, this motorcycle accident happened in in the 1700 block of North Lake Shore Drive, which is in Lincoln Park, in the southbound lanes. At approximately 2:55 a.m., a motorcycle, said to be traveling at a “high rate of speed,” crashed and the motorcycle struck a median.
The motorcyclist, a 48-year-old male, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.
There was a also a female passenger, said to be 52 years old, who was taken to Northwestern Memorial.
