There was a fatal motorcycle accident early this morning on Chicago’s Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94).
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened at approximately 5:15 a.m., when a motorcyclist was traveling in the northbound lanes near West 35th Street. The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with the rear of a Cadillac sedan.
The motorcyclist, who has yet to be identified but is said to be 43 years old, died at the accident scene.
None of the four people traveling in the Cadillac were injured.
