There was a fatal motorcycle accident on Sunday, July 29 near Savanna, Illinois.
The motorcyclist killed was Timothy Foster, 47, of Moline, Illinois.
News accounts vary as to whether Foster was riding alone or among a group of motorcyclists, but he was heading northbound on Scenic Ridge Road prior to the accident. He then lost control of his motorcycle, left the roadway, and hit a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
