Fatal Motorcycle Accident – Motorist Fails To See Motorcyclist

A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Carmel, Indiana on Saturday night.

An excerpt from a story on WISHTV.com of November 5 2011 titled “Police investigating serious crash” :

According to police reports, a 31-year-old man from Noblesville was riding a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle heading northbound on Hazel Dell when he collided into an SUV that had pulled out onto Hazel Dell Parkway from Rippling Brook Way.

The driver of the 2011 Toyota Rav 4, a 73-year-old man, stated that he did not see the motorcycle, according to police reports.

According to police, the rider of the motorcyle was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but died from the impact of the collision.
