There was a fatal motorcycle accident in Schaumburg, Illinois on Friday afternoon, August 31.
A motorcyclist, identified as Mariusz Zajac, 37, of Elk Grove Village, was riding north on Meacham Road at approximately 4:53 p.m., when he collided with a van that was traveling southbound. The van was making a left-hand turn to go eastbound on Old Schaumburg Road at the time of the collision.
Zajac was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The driver of the van, said to be a 21-year-old male, and his female passenger, were treated at the accident scene for minor injuries.
