Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Naperville

There was a fatal Illinois motorcycle accident Saturday night (July 26, 2014) in Naperville.

According to the Naperville Police Department, the motorcycle accident happened at approximately 11:45 p.m., at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Columbia Street.  The motorcyclist was riding on Ogden and  lost control of the motorcycle.  The bike left the roadway at the southeast corner of Columbia, and collided with two trees.

The motorcyclist, identified as Erik P. Lat, 28, of Lisle, was taken to Edward Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

This motorcycle crash remains under investigation.
