There was a fatal motorcycle accident Wednesday (July 2, 2014) in Naperville, Illinois.
According to Naperville Police, according to a preliminary investigation this fatal motorcycle accident happened at approximately 12:55 p.m., when a SUV made a left-hand turn in the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Ogden Avenue at Iroquois Drive, and the SUV and motorcycle collided.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle’s driver was pinned between the SUV and the motorcycle and the motorcycle’s passenger was pinned under the SUV.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Frederick M. Wendt, 66, of Andover, Minnesota. Wendt was taken to Edward Hospital. where he was later pronounced dead.
The passenger, Alice F. Wendt, 66, of Andover, Minnesota, was also taken to Edward Hospital.
