A motorcyclist was killed Monday night when he collided with a vehicle near Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
The motorcyclist killed, Salvatore J. Cacciato, 64, from Lisle, was riding south on College Road at approximately 9:18 p.m. At that point, according to police, he collided with a driver who was making a left turn from a Benedictine University parking lot.
Both Cacciato and the other driver were taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville. Cacciato was pronounced dead, and the other driver was released with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation; no charges have been filed.
