A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Orion, Illinois (in Henry County) on Saturday afternoon (April 8, 2017) at approximately 2:30 p.m. The crash happened at N 1350th Ave.
Details on the accident – including the cause of the crash – appear to be limited at this time.
The motorcyclist was identifed as Tim A. Ergle, 46, of Rock Island, Illinois. According to the Rock Island Coroner, Ergle died after being taken to Genesis Illini Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries. He died from multiple traumatic injuries sustained in the motorcycle crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
